Survived By: Keith M. Adcock (husband);  and Andrea Adcock and Kimberly Adcock Hixon (daughters) and 2 grandbabies, Casey and Molly.

Melanie was always so positive, smiling, loved singing and a wonderful Christian example for so many that knew her.  I went to church with Melanie and she was such a sweetheart.  Within weeks she was diagnosed with terminal cancer.  Bless her heart, I'm not sure she realized what was happening to her.  She passed quickly within a few months.  She died of cancer.

Melanie went to church at Memorial Church of Christ for as long as I knew her starting in high school.  She went to Texas A&M and graduated in 1978. She loved to sing and was very involved in Girl Scouts.   Melanie died January 21, 2017 and her funeral was at Memorial Church of Christ.
