Laura was my college roommate at Baylor - we had known each other as acquaintances since junior high, but were happy to join up as two non-baptists at a very Baptist university. In our year and a half together before she transferred to U of H and completed her degree, we had such a great time, with many happy memories of fun and friendships with so many on our college dorm floor. She met her great love in Houston and married and I was honored to be in her wedding. She made a wonderful life for Dan and their daughters, who were the world to her. Her sudden death from an aneurysm was shocking and heartbreaking. She will always be remembered for the kind and fun person she was.
