Kyle Lister Maxcy went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on July 9, 2017. He was born October 19, 1957 in Houston, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Cherrie. He was also preceded in death by his parents, Edwin L. and Lila L. Maxcy.
He is survived by seven children, Roy, Ronnie, David, Lila, Edwin, Emma and Eva who were the joy of his life. He is also survived by his older brother and his wife, Alan and Ginny, and his younger brother, Barton.
He attended Westchester High School for his freshman and sophomore years, then graduated from Stratford High School Class of 1975. Kyle graduated form the University of Houston with a BBA in Accounting in 1979. He was a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the Texas and American Institutes of Certified Public Accountants.
Kyle was an avid sports fan, especially every sporting event involving the University of Houston. But most of all he devoted his life to impacting the lives of his wife and children. He was always giving of himself to help them achieve the happiness that God wanted for them.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 12, 2017 from 6-8 p.m. at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home.
A Memorial Service to celebrate his life will be held at Second Baptist Church in the Hankamer Chapel at 3 p.m. Thursday, July 13, 2017.
