THOMAS G. BARKLEY, 42, was born June 11, 1964 in Houston and went to be with his Lord on July 8, 2006 after a long, undiagnosed illness. Thomas attended Spring Branch High School and graduated from Westchester High School in 1983. He attended Schreiner College in Kerrville and went on to graduate from Texas A & M University - Commerce in 1990 with a Bachelor of Science degree. Thomas worked as an Art Director in the publishing field for Enron Corp. and ProEd, Inc. in Austin. He also attended Cy-Fair College studying health science. Thomas was involved in the modeling industry since high school until his illness presented itself. Thomas is survived by his mother, Frances Elaine Wooley; his father, Keitt C. Barkley, III; sister, Becky Love; two neices, Autumn and Hayley Love; grandmother, Marie Barkley; loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. |

I think I may have been Thomas' best friend. We had lots of great times together - most of which was working out, going out to night clubs, working on cars or chasing women. He always had the best luck with the last endeavor! He was a very good looking guy and all the women absolutely fawned over him! Thomas was an honest person and a good friend. He suffered for many years with a back ailment that caused him constant pain. He had difficulty sitting or standing and it wore his usually high spirits down. He will be sorely missed...
