Drew Benton Smith

August 13, 1962 - April 4, 2005

DREW SMITH, 42 died April 4, 2005.

Drew is survived by his parents, Darrell and Kelley Smith and his grandmother, Nedra Smith as well as cousins, Jan Drewry, Kim Ardoin and Denise Michalk. He was a graduate of Westchester High School. He attended Victoria College and University of Houston Downtown. After college he worked as a trainer at the Vern Garrison Workshop for the Developmentally Disabled. Drew enjoyed many years as a member of the Houston Challengers, a nationally ranked indoor wheelchair soccer team.

A memorial service will be held Friday April 8 at 3 PM in the Chapel of Memorial Drive Presbyterian Church, 11612 Memorial Dr., Houston. The chapel is accessed from the North entrance off Blalock Drive.

The family asks that memorials be sent to The Houston Challengers, 1475 West Gray, Houston, TX 77019, or to a charity of choice.
