After graduating from WHS, I went to the University of Kansas where I majored in journalism. I spent several years in Kansas City, moved to the northeast for a job, then came back to Texas where I met my husband Tim. We were married in Dallas, built our first home in Allen, then moved around for my husband's job - to Kansas City for three years, the Phoenix area for five years, and back to Dallas in 2007. I've jumped in and out of the workforce a few times, mostly in corporate relocation and residential real estate.
