Lea graduated from Westchester High School (1977) in Houston and Baylor University, where she earned a degree in Secondary Education. Her heart for children led Lea to teach history to middle school students in Aldine, Royal, Lamar Consolidated, Clear Creek and Alvin ISD's.

I loved reading all about Lea and her life post-graduation.  She clearly had a meaningful and special life.  She was a quiet and gentle soul in school, such a kind person.  She will be missed.
