Mike Bonham, age 42, died Friday, August 17, 2001. The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, August 22, 2001 at 11:00 A.M. at Mission Park Funeral Chapels North, 3401 Cherry Ridge Drive. Mike Bonham was a good friend from Bendwood Elementary through Memorial Junior High and beyond. He moved from Westchester after freshman year to New Braunfels. He was the star quarterback on the New Braunfels High School football team. He roomed with Laurence Ligon at Texas A & M and graduated with a Business degree. He was a banker by profession.
He died of natural causes in August 2001 He had no children.
Mike was a gentle spirit with a big heart. I had the blessing of being a good friend of Mikes in college at Texas A&M. He would open his New Braunsfel home to all of his friends and acquaintences. All of Mike's friends miss him dearly.
