David was one of my friends from church, St. Cecilia's, from school, Memorial and Westchester, and he lived nearby. I always liked David. He was easy-going and seemed willing to be friends with just about anybody. David needed people and lots of people needed him. I remember his big toothy smile and very long arms and skinny body. You HAD to smile back at him when you saw him coming. I hated to find out he is no longer with us. I will miss him but will see him again one day where there will be no more sadness.
