In Memory

Dianne Meushaw - Class Of 1973

Dianne Meushaw

November 8, 1954 - April 17, 2001

Dianne will always be remembered for her outgoing personality.  She was very vivacious and full of "spunk".  As a Wranglerette she was awarded the Margie Atwood Spirit Award.  She attended Sam Houston State University and was a member of Alpha Delta Pi sorority.

Dianne spent the last few years of her life in Tyler, Texas, working for UT Health Center.  She was an active member of her church and Bible Study Fellowship.  Dianne passed away on April 17, 2001, after a long battle with cancer.  She is survived by her father, Merrill Meushaw, and her sister, Merrilyn Meushaw.

Rebecca "Becky" Marshall (Hanna) (1973)

Thank you for letting the class of '73 know of your loss.

My deepest sympathy.

Dianne and I were in school together for many years. I think we went to Meadow Woods together too.

Dianne will always be in our hearts. She loved much and she gave her friends so much laughter and enthusiasm. There was a group of us that gathered around her as her illness progressed. We had several GREAT trips to Tyler as we cooked and cleaned for her. This same group gathers at Mo Ranch in the Hill Country outside of Ingram and Hunt, TX every summer. Three trees have been planted there, up at the Tri-Plex cabins, in memory of Dianne. As the trees grow, and survive these Texas drought-filled summers, we find great joy in the strength of remembering Dianne. "Never gone while in the hearts of friends."
