ANGELA REBECCA LANGSTON MCMILLAN of Houston, TX passed away January 29, 2009. She was born May 23, 1955 in Jackson, MS to Fredna McBay Langston and Benjamin Langston. Angela graduated from Westchester High School in 1973 and Stephen F Austin University in 1977, earning a bachelor's degree in Business. Angela battled a serious pulmonary disease the final year of her life.
She was a member of Second Baptist Church, Houston, TX, and in previous years had been a member of Pines Presbyterian Church, Houston, TX. She was loved dearly and will be greatly missed by her family.
She was preceded in death by her former husband, Travis McMillan, also Westchester class of 1973. She is survived by her son, James Autry McMillan, her parents Fredna and Ben Langston, her sister Susan Zimicki, her brother Ben Langston, Jr. and wife Connie Langston, niece Leah Langston, nephews Eric Zimicki and Seth Langston, aunts and uncles: Amarylus and Darwin Holland, LeRay and Glen McBay, Virginia Langston, Jean Langston, and many cousins.
A memorial service was held at 2:00 p.m. Monday February 2nd at Pines Presbyterian Church, 12751 Kimberley Lane, Houston, TX 77024 with Rev. Wayne Eberly officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Pines Presbyterian Church or Second Baptist Church, 6400 Woodway Drive Houston TX 77057.
