David Blaine was diagnosed with lung cancer in the fall of 1994. After a long struggle with this tragic disease, he finally succumbed in September 1996. David leaves his wife Betsy and one son, Austin.
David was an avid fisherman and hunter all of his life. He loved the outdoors. At the time of his passing he was living in Atlanta, Georgia and was a member of Hickory Flat Methodist Church.
He cherished his time at Westchester High School and the close friends he made there. He remained in contact with Mike Heiser and Mike Phillips (both close friends from Westchester) until his passing.
David is also survived by four brothers, two of which attended Westchester.... Dean and Doug.
