Rebecca Jane Bixler (Schoultz) - Class Of 1973

Rebecca Jane Bixler (Schoultz)

Rebecca "Becky" Jane Bixler Schoultz
March 8, 1955 - September 22, 1982

Rebecca Jane Bixler

Rebecca, known to everyone as Becky, was a true Texan. Born in Borger on March 8, 1955 she was our angel in the family. Becky was a great sister (and person) who put up with a lot of teasing from my brother and myself! After living in Colorado for a number years our family moved to Houston.

When I graduated from Westchester in 1971 she was very involved with the activities around school and church. These areas in her life helped her grow into a very caring and honest person. Becky also loved her horses and would spend as much time with them down at the bayou and bringing them up to the house.

Becky attended Trinity University and was awarded a degree in Music studying piano and organ. Her love of music and dance was used in service to God. She married and she and her husband moved to San Diego to continue to be of service in their Christian community.

Becky was taken from this Earth on September 22, 1982 and is missed by her friends and family. Her ashes were scattered on Wolf Creek Pass in Colorado where our angel can watch over us.

Lovingly submitted by Jim Bixler (brother)

Rebecca married Russell Scott Schoultz on July 30, 1977 in Bexar County.

Becky graduated 2 years before I did and seemed so much more mature than I was. We both had horses down at the bayou and she was always a sweet, thoughful, and caring person. She loved her horses and love riding and was a wonderful role model to those of us that were younger.
