So something I need to get out there because I feel like I've contacted everyone that I can as of right now. I was notified yesterday evening that my father Jess Wade Jr had passed away. We are all really shocked and saddened by this sudden and unexpected turn of events and are still trying to get things sorted out. If you have any questions please message me and I will do my best to answer them.

Jess Wade Jr. Obituary

Jess Edwin Wade, Jr.
1954-2016

Jess Edwin Wade, Jr., 62, of Houston, passed away Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at his residence. He was born to the late Jess Edwin Wade, Sr. and Patricia Ann Wade on January 12, 1954 in Dallas.
He attended Westchester High School 1972 in Houston and graduated from Richardson High School in Dallas, Texas in 1972. Jess received his B.A. degree from Southwest Texas State University in 1978.
Jess enjoyed playing golf, fishing, working in his yard and garden and listening to the Astros on the radio. You could always find him playing practical jokes, especially with the kids on Halloween. Jess was an avid Andy Griffith and Barney Fife enthusiast; he could recognize and name every episode by the title just by hearing one or two lines from the episode. Jess loved animals. He adopted and cared for abandoned and stray dogs and became the eyes for his adopted dog Chester when Chester was diagnosed with Macular Degeneration. Jess enjoyed researching the Wade family tree and staying very connected to the Wade family history, maintaining treasures passed down through the generations. Jess enjoyed cooking, especially grilling outdoors and most of all, spending time with his children and grandchildren. He will be missed, forever loved and never forgotten.
He is survived by his son, Jess Edwin Wade, III and his wife, Kimberly; his daughter, Rebecca Ann Wade; his grandchildren, Colton Wade and Nathan Wade; his sister Karen Wade Drummond and her husband, Mark, sister Lee Ann Wade Hill; his nieces, Emily Drummond Hesterman and Sarah Wade Cathey.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Jess Edwin Wade, Sr. and Patricia Ann Wade.
A memorial graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 27, 2016 at the Red Oak Cemetery under the direction of Wayne Boze Funeral Home, Waxahachie, Texas.
