Class of 1970 - Sherry passed away on Oct. 18, 2002 from a rare type of cancer- she fought it for 9 years.

Funeral Services for SHERRY LYNN (WEBB) RUBENDALL, 50, of Belton, will be held at 1:00 PM Monday at the First Baptist Church of Belton. Burial will follow at the Cedar Knob Cemetery.

Mrs. Rubendall died Friday Oct 18, 2002 at her residence after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Sherry worked many years in the Harris County Clerks Office. Marrying in 1990 and making her home in Belton. She worked for the Bell County District Clerk's office and as a Legal Secretary in Killeen. Sherry was a volunteer for: TPWD Hunters Education and Boaters Education, Becoming An Outdoors Woman; National Wild Turkey "Women in the Outdoors Programs," Texas Outdoors Women's Network and the NRA Youth Hunter Education Program. She was a longtime volunteer for the "Pin Oak Charity Horse Show."

Survivors include her husband Randy Rubendall of Belton, son Stephen Todee II and wife Cheri of Paige, father Doyle Webb of Galveston, mother Marilyn R. Webb of Houston, sisters Terry Lynn Webb and Sandra Kay Webb, both of Houston, and mother-in-law JoAn Musick-Flowers of Belton.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the charity of your choice.

Hi Terry,

Weren't you both at the last reunion?! I wish I would have known about this sooner... I'm so sorry to hear about Sherry. She was a great classmate.

Samuel Lawrence Haynes (1970)

When I was the new kid on the block Terry and her sister Sherry invited me to carpool that first year at Memorial before there was a Weschester. Glad I had a chance to say hello to her 40 years later and talk of teenage years. After living overseas for many years it was great to return to the reunion with my own former Wildcat wife of 35 years and visit about the old school and neighborhood.
