I am sorry to read this in today's paper. Did not know David was ill-as we had lost touch. We all had great times together as teens attending Westchester High, and making lots of movies in the late 60s and early 70s. The Group got together every weekend for many years. David loved his music, his guitar, and was a good friend with a great dry sense of humor. He is missed, and will continue to be missed by many. He left us too soon. Regards and condolences to the family---

Seing this post reminds me of how short life can be. My Father told me to make the most of every day, back when i was in High School at Westchester. We were the first Class to attend  the first 4 years when Westchester opened. And even then they had to add T Buildings to hold all the students.  It seems not all that long ago. Back when i was 18 and fixing to go into the military my senior year in Aug. I think of all the things we did. Football, surfing at Surside beach, Quintana beach, and Sargent beach. Learning how to fly, and just generally running around being an 18 year old young man. But something changed my life during that time, in a big way. Of all the years growing up going to church working with my Father in the marine business. I came to a place in my life to ask the question. Is there someone up there that loves me, and is there more to this life we live. And I got my answer in a very BIG way, that changed me forever. To the point my friends and running buddies, even my best friend, did not know me any more, because i was changed.

So at this I suggest that we make the most of every day, with family and friends. Live our life to the fullest. Be loving and kind to one another. Be honest with your self and others. Because their is more to this life we live than what we realize. Reason why I know, becuase I have SEEN it I have experiance it.
