Joseph Louis Trapolino III obituary, 1964-2022, Houston, TX


Joseph Louis Trapolino, III, of Houston, passed away on Tuesday, the 18th of October 2022, at 58 years of age. He was born on the 29th of April, 1964 in Houston, Texas to the late Joseph Louis Trapolino, Jr and Grace Noble.

He is survived by his son, Matthew Joseph Trapolino, his mother Grace Noble, his former wife and friend, Himena Olson, his step-mother Pat Trapolino, his aunt and uncle Mike Ballases and Sandra Ballases, and his uncle Robert Johnson.

Joe was preceded in death by his beloved sister, Jennifer Trapolino  Westchester class of 1981, his father Joseph Louis Trapolino, Jr., and his aunt, Roseann Johnson.

We remember Joe as a good, caring and loving human being. He was a good son, husband, father and friend.

Joe always looked at life with honesty, love, faith and optimism, these are values that he instilled in his son Matthew. He was a loving father who cherished his son. He enjoyed watching videos of his son playing basketball. Despite suffering from an illness for many years, he was always positive, brave and strong, seeking to occupy his time with art and music, subjects that he was passionate about. He loved good movies, music, hanging out with friends, and good food.

Joe graduated from the Art Institute of Houston, his mother Grace remembers one of his special talents of creating portraits. He was her best friend and she loved him very much.

Joe was a fighter and a man of faith, he believed and trusted in Jesus and had the hope that one day he would be with our Creator, where he could enjoy his company for all eternity.

A memorial service is to be conducted at eleven o'clock this morning, Thursday, the 27th of October, in the Hankamer Chapel of Second Baptist Church, 6400 Woodway Drive in Houston, where Rev. Brad Goad, Pastor of Adult Ministries, is to officiate.
