It was, is a privilege to call Billy Block my friend, from our shared days at Westchester High School in the early seventies, to his days drumming around Houston and through to our recent long distance exchanges via Facebook! Billy was a one of those rare persons that embodies everything good! He filled his life giving that goodness to others, old friends, new friends and strangers alike, though I don't believe, he ever met a stranger! If you walk outside tonight and look up, you will surely notice a bright new star in the heavens, and if you listen closely, I'm confident you will hear Billy counting off a angelic chorus of "Will The Circle Be Unbroken"!
