"Life has a funny way of teaching us. It will create deep sadness so we know how to truly understand happiness. It will create chaos in our lives so that we may appreciate the peaceful times and it will take those we love away from us so that we will truly understand what their presence meant to us." Unknown.

Our beloved Reese Allen McHenry sadly passed Wednesday January 13, 2021. It is with celebration and honor that we must approach this, not only for ourselves, but, for the spirit of a man who never wanted us to be sad when he was gone.

Reese's final wishes were for his remains to be scattered in the Gulf during a burial at sea service. Let's join together in peace and harmony to honor his last request. We would love to be able to charter a boat and have already begun the process of contacting those who may be able to help organize such an event.

Unfortunately, money does not grow on trees. As you may know, Reese and his family are rich in love, life and laughter but are not well off financially. As such, these services have been largely out of pocket on behalf of his wonderful family and friends. We have reached the point where we need to raise as much money as we can to realistically make the burial at sea happen sometime this Spring or in the Summer, depending upon the schedules of family/friends.

Please consider donating to this cause so that we may give Reese the send-off he truly deserves. Donate whatever you can, nothing more, that's all we ask.

Every donation helps!   https://www.gofundme.com/f/reese-mchenry-memorial-service

All are welcome to celebrate Reese's life with us, just trying to get a head count for logistical purpose. Please RSVP and comment if you're bringing anybody with so we have an idea of who's coming. If you can't make it, no hard feelings, be there in spirit with us as we bid farewell to a love like no other.

If anybody would like to be involved with or help in any way in regards to the ceremony itself, please feel free to reach out to Mark Stephens, Faye Freels Stephens, Lauren McHenry or Lou Molino. Thank you so much for everyone's gracious help and support in this difficult time!

We are lucky to have so many amazing people in our corner; Reese would be truly honored with this outpouring of support! Thank you again!
