Roger was a navigator / RIO (Radar Intercept Officer) for the F4 jets in the Air Force stationed in South Korea. He volunteered for a training mission in a T38 when his plane went missing over the Yellow Sea. The Air Force searched for him, the pilot and the plane for 4 days before declaring him and the pilot dead.
Roger was a 1969 graduate of Westchester High School and a 1973 graduate of Texas A&M University where he was a member of the Fish Drill Team. He was posthumously promoted to Captain. Roger loved WHS, A&M, the AirForce and his family.
