Susan Elizabeth Stover Sutherland

March 31, 1953 - May 6, 2009

Susan Sutherland, 56, of Austin passed away on May 6, 2009. Susan was born to Jim and Ann Stover, of New Braunfels, on March 31, 1953 in Natick, Mass.

She graduated from Westchester High School in Houston in 1971 and received a BS degree in Nursing from the University of Texas at Austin in 1975. She married Michael Couvillon in 2007 and they lived together in Austin.

After graduating from U.T. Susan joined the Navy and attained the rank of lieutenant. She was stationed in California and after her she fulfilled her commitment to the military she returned to her beloved Austin. Susan loved the Texas Hill Country and was making plans to move to Blanco.

Susan was preceded in death by her mother, Ann Allebach Stover. She is survived by her son, Eric; father, Jim Stover; sister, Nancy Norman and her husband John; brother, Fritz and wife Joanne.
