Les was one of those people who impacted my life deeply. Perhaps this is one small way, outside of prayer, in which I can honor him. Being around Les touched my spirit, brought me joy, and made me laugh. It brought me intense sadness to hear that he was gone before I had the chance to say goodbye. During my senior year of high school, Les was there when I needed him; I wish I could have been there to uplift his spirits when he was ill.
