Funeral services for Gerald W Brokmeyer, 36, of Katy were held Jan 12 at Henneke Funeral Home in Columbus with Deacon Chuck Glynn officiating. Burial followed at Sts Peter & Paul Catholic Cemetery in Frelsburg.

He died Jan 7 in Houston. He was born July 13, 1963 in Houston, the son of Darwin & Jeanett (Urbanovsky) Brokmeyer.

He was a welder for Harris Co and affiliated with St Bartholomew Catholic Church in Katy.

Survivors include his daughter, Lizzie Brokmeyer of Katy; parents, Darwin & Jeanette Brokmeyer of Buchanan Dam; 2 brothers and sisters-in-law, his twin, Darrell & Kristie Brokmeyer of Magnolia and Ron J & Denise Brokmeyer of Katy; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were James & Gene Urbanovsky, Gene Brokmeyer, Darrin Quinton, Paul Skulbal, Gary Kovar, Brian Kubala and Brian Carter.

Funeral handled by Henneke Funeral Home of Columbus.
