School Story:

Several:
The Senior Boys Club Bonfire (the LAST WHS bonfire) of 1972 - and afterwards when I and a couple of others ran our b---s off from the Texas DPS who came upon our Senior party out in the Addicks Dam area. Gary H. ran so hard with that beer keg trying to not be apprehended by a member of law enforcement. We all were laughing so hard that a change of clothes was definitely required when we got to our respective homes!! Earlier, a bunch of us picked up one of our classmates' car - an orange VW bug - completely OFF the ground at the bonfire site - he (can't remember his name!?) got so mad that his drive wheels were spinning - we had to be really careful so we could drop the car and not get run over!

Getting to ride not-so-clandestinely on a Wranglerettes bus back to Westchester from the Astrodome!

Our senior band group - Concorde - who were very similar to Chicago in style and who were also very good!

My "adventure" career since I retired from my former Human Resources career in 2009. It's a lot of fun - a real kick in the posterior!

...with a 1973 Mercury Comet GT at a classic car show held as part of the Tacoma, Washington Freedom Fair on July 4, 2009. Wow, does this ever bring back fabulous memories! My very first car was a 1972 Mercury Comet GT - "Bearcat" model with dual (and very loud!) Thrush sidewinder exhaust pipes which unfortunately left some "burn nicks" on the backs of a few of my WHS dates' legs back in those days - and a 302 cubic inch, 4 barrel engine.

In my role as Capacity Recruiter @ Interstate Distributor. I recruit contract carriers with their own operating authority to haul our 53' dry van trailers &/or reefer trailers on loads for us across the USA. In this role, I truly don't know a stranger!
