What School Activities Did you Participate in and in what years?

Cathy Blumenthal and I began Keyettes, sister service/social club to the all-male Key Club.

French Club, Choir/TQ (Triple Quartet), Art.

One of my favorite memories was being Mrs. Ruff's Student Assistant ... Felicia Bond and I used to spend those hours painting "Argus" posters for Mrs. Ruff to hang in the classroom ... so she wouldn't have to buy them :)

Comments:

After retiring from NEISD in San Antonio, on 9/30/09, my husband and I moved to McKinney, Texas. We're now living in a lovely 106-yr-old historical home, just a few blocks from my home decor and gift shop called The Crystal Cloche on the Historic Downtown McKinney Square. The store began as Cindy Jane's Attic, a small booth within Home & Garden Consignment, where I met two wonderful ladies who, three years later, became my partners when we opened our own store on the Square, called The Crystal Cloche. Now, 3 1/2 years later, The Crystal Cloche is owned and operated by two of us, and we are loving the challenge of it!

I worked with NEISD for 33 years as an elementary teacher, g/t teacher (K-5), & Instructional Technology Specialist, then as an educational consultant.

I also owned an educational toy store, Chasing Rainbows in Artisans' Alley in San Antonio back in the 1980's.

Prior to that I worked as a financial planner with IDS/American Express, now Ameriprise.
