Barbara Rathgeber, social studies teacher at Westchester from the early 1970s until Westchester High School closed in 1985, and then a teacher at Stratford until her retirement, passed away on 11-25-18.

Services were held on 12-13-18 at St. Philip Presbyterian on San Felipe, Houston. She was a dear friend and a great colleague.

Of all the teachers and professors which I studied under, Barbara Rathgeber was THE BEST!
Her effervescent personality combined with her love of people and learning made attending her class a joy! Mrs Rathgeber made a lasting impression on my life and I am forever grateful to her and for her!
