Melinda Kay Clements, 56, of Warda, Texas passed away on Friday, July 7, 2017.
Melinda was born in Waco, Texas on February 4, 1961, the daughter of Robert and Norma (Killingsworth) Clements. Melinda was a resident of La Grange, Texas at the time of her passing.
She graduated from Trinity University and was a member of the Delta Sigma PI Omega Chapter. Melinda worked as a nurse at Hospice Brazos Valley in La Grange.
She is survived by her father, Robert Clements and step mother, Ann, of Warda, TX; daughter, Suzanne Straube of Arcata, CA; son, Thomas Straube of Austin, TX; brother, James Clements and wife, Debbie, of Katy, TX; and grandchildren, Thomas and Gracie Straube.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Norma Clements.
Memorial services will be held at Koenig & Strickland Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 officiated by Dr. Jerry Hurst.
